想幸福的人

I have to admit I didn't fall head over heels with this song. But that's initially, of course. Rainie has really evolved as a singer; from her bubble gum pop offerings to songs with more sophistication. After all, those are songs which are 百听不厌.

The title of the song is interesting; now I am sure many of us want to be 幸福. The biggest question is how. According to the song, here's how

1. 学着戒掉悲观 负我的都不恨; Learn to quit being pessimistic, don't hate all those who have let you down
2. 懂得爱甜蜜中有苦涩的成分; Know that in the sweetness of love, there is an accompanying bitterness

I only picked two of my favourite lines to translate. I don't usually do translation work (not because it is difficult, but) because I feel that the beauty of the Chinese language is lost in the process. And that was the main reason why I chose to start this blog in the first place.
